I don’t really know how to classify myself. I know that making my body harmonize with music is what I am most passionate about. I find human behavior to be the most interesting thing in life.  I believe that combining human nature with the intricacy of music can be absolutely breath taking, but it’s a tricky recipe. My main focus as a choreographer, dancer and teacher is to balance movement, musicality and sincerity.  I want my art to be aesthetic to the eye, harmonious with the ear and relatable to person.  Besides that, I like chilling, traveling, laughing, and trying weird things. I thrive on change and am constantly finding new inspiration. I truly believe in myself as an artist and a person, but I don’t take life too seriously, and I have a tattoo of a dot on my wrist to prove it.

I committed early in life to extensive training in ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap, musical theatre and ballroom. By the age of 17 I had completed all levels of the ADAPT syllabus in jazz and tap and passed my R.A.D Advanced Ballet Exam with distinction. Since then, I have expanded my repertoire while training in Vancouver, Los Angeles, Montreal, Toronto and New York. While in Vancouver, I joined a professional training company called ‘Modus Operandi” directed by Tiffany Tregarthen and David Raymond. This experience influenced my dancing significantly, as it exposed me to a world of dance routed in organic movement and self-discovery as a creative artist. Since then, I have had the opportunity to further expand my knowledge of the professional dance industry while working on many different projects, which have included film, television, national tours and industrial performances. To date, some of my credits include So You Think You Can Dance Top 10 dancer, The X Factor USA, Mirror Mirror, COBU 3D, Sur le Rythme,  Pinup Saints National Tour, Sarah MacLachlan and K’Naan. Each and every experience so far has given me new insight and pushed me to grow as a professional dance artist.

As I continue establishing myself as a professional dancer, I train relentlessly, not only in dance, but also in developing myself as a choreographer. Creation is, undoubtedly, what fulfils me the most and I cannot wait to see where it will take me. So far, I have choreographed professionally for corporate shows for companies such as Remax , Lise Watier Cosmetics and on film, for movies such as Sur le Rythme and the Rock Circus TV Pilot. I have also been fortunate enough to travel throughout North America sharing what I do with  hundreds of dancers, which has been incredibly rewarding and something I hope to do for a very long time. I could not be more grateful for all the events that have shaped my dance career to date, and I sincerely look forward to all the upcoming experiences that will influence how I continue to evolve as a dancer, choreographer and teacher.
